When my father died i was given all his photos and slides, which run into hundreds. So i have now started to scan them, which has led me to thinking where all these photos were stored as i do not remember seeing them as i child growing up. Most of the slides i have seen at some point when we had slide shows in the evening at home.

One of the most amazing photos i was given, was the photo of my dads parents wedding, taken in 1906. With and piece of paper naming most of the people on the photo.
